Arin is the main subject of the Longform Experiment, and the main character of the series. He first appears in Transmission 1, where he is seen momentarily lying unconscious on the basement floor. As evidenced by his actions throughout the series, he has extreme amnesia, and presumable narcolepsy onset by the events in the series.
